Ka’Niece Harris-Hinton serves as the Comptroller for the AME Finance Department. A native of Washington, DC. She joined the African Methodist Episcopal Church’s Finance Department in 2016 as an Accountant and has since transitioned into the role of Comptroller. Her 20 years of banking and accounting experience contributes to her current role success where she oversees the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s administrative and financial services.

 

She currently holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Accounting with a Concentration in Public Accounting from Strayer University. Her biggest achievement in life is keeping her promise to her grandmother of completing college. She has exceeded her grandmother’s expectations and hopes to continue to do so by becoming a Certified Public Accountant. In her spare time, Ka ’Niece loves bowling, shopping, and spending time with loved ones.
