Veneshia Brown serves as an accountant for the AME Finance Department. She joined the African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church’s Finance Department in 2017. In her role as an accountant, she ensures the accuracy of financial statements; performs account reconciliations; and prepares financial documents for annual audits.

As a South Carolina native, Veneshia earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from The University of South Carolina. In an effort to better serve the needs of the finance department, she obtained a Master of Science in Accounting from Grand Canyon University. Her love of analyzing numbers and calculating metrics, will serve as motivation toward achieving her ultimate professional goal of becoming a Certified Public Accountant. In her spare time,
